Career:
Chris read law at Aberdeen University and subsequently converted to become an English qualified lawyer in 1985, after a period with an American shipping company.  He became a Partner at Stoneham Langton & Passmore in 1992 and joined Downs in 1996. 

Specialisms:
Commercial disputes, cross-border litigation and insolvency.

• Member of R3 (Association of Business Recovery Professionals)
• Member of The British Institute of International and Comparative Law.
• Contributor to “Enforcement of Money Judgments” and “Attachment of Earnings” published in the US.
