Career:
Nigel read law at Oxford University and qualified as a Solicitor in 1977.  He worked with City law firms for several years, including a secondment in Brussels.  Nigel was a Partner at a Sussex based commercial law firm for over 10 years and headed up their Secured Lending and Corporate Recovery departments.  Prior to that he was a Partner at Crawley based legal firm, DMH Stallard, where he was responsible for setting up their new Gatwick commercial/corporate department and initiating the establishment of a network of affiliated European law firms.

His considerable experience covers most aspects of corporate and commercial law, mainly within the financial services sector.  Nigel advises many leading financiers, directors and insolvency practitioners.

He has an MBA and joined Downs as a Partner in 2008.
