We pride ourselves in being able to understand our clients. You in turn need to understand us, in particular the way we work, how we charge and what our services will cost.
At the outset of any instructions, or as soon as possible, we are required to provide you with details of our charges, terms of business and costs estimate or quotation. You should therefore receive from the fee earner responsible for your file, letters confirming the ambit of your instructions, his or her initial advice, together with details of our charging rates, an estimate of our costs and where applicable other information regarding our services and the legal process relating to your instructions. You will also receive our Terms of Business.
In addition to giving you this information at the outset, we will also tell you at regular intervals what our costs are and update any estimates given. We can, if you wish, inform you when our charges have reached a certain figure. Please ask the fee earner handling your matter if you wish to arrange this.
Whilst the documents stated in the preceding paragraph will govern our costs with regard to your particular matter, our current hourly fee rates are as follows:-
| Partners |
£225 - £250 |
| Solicitors |
£200 |
| Legal Executives | £150 - £180 |
| Paralegals |
£110 - £150 |
| Trainee Solicitors |
£110 |
Please refer to our Terms of Business for further information upon our charges.
