Paul Marsh



Paul has held many high offices during a very distinguished career.  He has been Chairman of the Law Society Conveyancing and Land Law Committee, and was appointed by the Law Society to lead it on all property and land law issues.  He was Chairman of the Solicitors Indemnity Fund from 2003 to 2007.  In 2007 Paul was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Law by Kingston University for his services to the legal profession.  His most prestigious appointment came in 2008 when he became President of the Law Society of England and Wales.  In 2012 he was appointed to the Board of the Solicitors Regulation Authority, our regulatory authority.  Paul was recently listed in the Times as one of the 100 most influential lawyers in England.  He regularly talks at seminars and appears on radio and TV.
