Roger was born and brought up in Guildford and was previously a partner with a well-known London law firm. He specialises in landlord and tenant work, development and investment and secured lending. He has particular experience in dealing with corporate occupiers and telecoms and hotel / restaurant – related transactions. He has acted for institutional banks, charitable bodies and schools, and pension funds, as well as corporate and private landlords and tenants.
Roger has links with many local institutions and organisations and was, until the recent merger with University of Surrey, a Governor of The Guildford School of Acting.
