New Lawyer Strengthens Family Law Team
Julie Watts has been appointed as an Associate Solicitor in the Family team of leading Surrey law firm Downs Solicitors LLP. She joins the firm from TWM Solicitors. Prior to this, Julie was with the niche matrimonial practice, Wheltons in Guildford prior to its merger with TWM in 2012.

Consultant is appointed to the Board of the SRA
Consultant Solicitor and former President of the Law Society, Paul Marsh, has been appointed to the Board of the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Paul who works for Surrey-based law firm, Downs Solicitors LLP, will be joining the Board as a Solicitor Member in January 2013.

Raising a Cup for the World's Biggest Coffee Morning
The kettles were boiling, as staff at Downs Solicitors LLP took part in the world's biggest coffee morning to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support. The event, the charity’s biggest fundraising event of the year, has been held every year since 1990, raising over £60 million in the process.
