More Flexibility For Parents - Are You Ready?

Towards the end of 2012, the Government announced its intention to allow more flexible and family friendly working practices.

Currently, mothers and adopters are entitled to take 52 weeks leave, which is split into 26 weeks “ordinary” leave and 26 weeks “additional” leave.  The first 39 weeks are paid in accordance with the statutory maternity and adoption pay rules.
