TUPE 2006 – BIS call for evidence
The BIS has issued a call for evidence seeking views on the effectiveness of TUPE 2006.
The government seeks views on all aspects of the regulations including whether the insolvency provisions should be clarified and amended to specify which insolvency proceedings they apply to, therefore replacing the current generic descriptions of insolvency procedures used in TUPE 2006.
If reaction to the call for evidence supports changes then a formal consultation will follow.
