Ayesha Begum

Ayesha joined Downs in January 2023 and is now a consultant in our Commercial Property Team. She has a wealth of experience in a broad range of commercial property work.

Ayesha has a strong commercial awareness and is client centric in her approach to providing legal services. She trained with large international city firms before moving out of the city and joining Downs in 2023.

Ayesha has 13 years’ experience dealing with: 

• all areas of commercial property transactions acting for developers, site owners, gym operators, factories, shops, cafes and offices.
• acting for landowners and property owners in sales including under option agreements, overages complex leases and easements.
• acting in high value acquisitions and disposals including auction sales and purchases.
• working with our Corporate team dealing with all aspects of their projects that involve properties.
