Mehboob Dharamsi

Mehboob is a Private Client Partner with over 25 years’ experience. He is based in our Cobham office

His principal areas of practice include succession planning, asset protection, trusts, wills, powers of attorney and inheritance tax planning.

Mehboob acts for a broad range of clients, including high net worth individuals, many with overseas aspects and complex family issues. They appreciate both his practical and technical advice, as well as his ability to clearly communicate complex legal and tax matters.

He has previously been acknowledged in both Chambers and Partners for his “sound technical knowledge and his open and friendly attitude” and the Legal 500 as “honest and trustworthy.”

As a member of Solicitors for the Elderly, Mehboob advises clients on the best way of protecting their families and their loved ones, including acting in the capacity of a professional Attorney. He also assists with Court of Protection applications and is often appointed as a deputy to protect the interests of mentally incapacitated individuals. He adopts a sensitive approach to advising in these matters, knowing that many clients need friendly support and reassurance in addition to straightforward advice on their legal issues.

Mehboob is also a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners and the Law Society’s Private Client Section.
