Downs Solicitors host South Region Encouraging Women Into Franchising (EWIF)

On 18 July 2025 Downs Solicitors LLP were delighted to host the South Region Encouraging Women Into Franchising (EWIF) meeting at their Dorking offices.

Kate Matthews QFP and Chair of EWIF South chaired the event. Claire Robinson QFP was our headline speaker giving an insightful talk about her experiences as a Franchisor of Extra Help and her continued role as Franchise Consultant.

We were also pleased to hear about the positive financial performance in the sector generally for the first 6 months of 2025 from Tom Barnes QFP of NatWest Bank. During the meeting there was a lively debate focussing on scoping and mapping territories and how to present this to the network and various EWIF initiatives.
