We are the Champions!
Downs Solicitors' Residential Conveyancing team has been crowned the Best Small Conveyancing Firm (South) in the 2017 Law Firm Services Awards. They beat off stiff competition from last year's winners, A V Rillo, who were also voted No. 1 Conveyancing Firm in the country by the Sunday Times in 2015. The awards took place at the Vox Centre, Resorts World, NEC Birmingham on Wednesday 20 September.

Cobham Heritage Day 2017
The sun was shining and families were out in force enjoying this year’s Cobham Heritage Day on Saturday 9 September. The event spans a wide area of the town, including Cobham Church Street, St Andrew's Church and Church Yard, Church Gate House Gardens and the Leg O'Mutton Field.

Downs Host Japan Delegation from Osaka
On 30 August, Senior Partner, Chris Millar, Liz Dalgetty, William Edwards and Simone Horrobin hosted a delegation of Japanese MPs from the Osaka Prefectural Assembly and the legal attaché of the Embassy of Japan at the National Liberal Club in London.

Betchworth Pro Am
Downs were delighted to be the main sponsor of this year's Betchworth Park Golf Club Pro-Am. The Pro Am is a Southern Region PGA event that has been running for over 17 years and regularly atttacts up to 200 players making it one of the largest team events run by the South Region PGA.

Charity Fundraiser for Ovarian Cancer and Medau
We were delighted to sponsor a local charity fundraising event organised by Medau teacher, Jo Power. The event which was held in Mickleham Village Hall raised a total of £1,179.30 which will be divided between Ovarian Cancer Action and Medau.
